Scott SWCD Board Meeting
The Scott Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors meets on the third Wednesday of each month. The meetings are held in the Conference Center at the Extension and Conservation Building, 7151 190th Street West, Jordan. The public is welcome to attend all meetings. Agendas and minutes are included under the Board information on our website. |

Conservation Day at the Fairgrounds/Tree Order Pickup
Join us for the second annual "Conservation Day at the Fairgrounds." Held in conjunction with the Scott SWCD seedling pickup, you and your family are invited to pick up your pre-ordered trees, rain barrels and native seed mixes or purchase remaining stock and supplies. Almost a dozen informational booths will be set up so you can learn more about planting tips, visit with local farmers, landscapers, Master Gardeners and SWCD conservationists. Free hot dogs and refreshments will be served; numerous door prizes will be given away too, compliments of Conservation day sponsors. Watch the April 2012 Scott County SCENE for more details! |

Scott SWCD Tree/Rain Barrel/Seed Mix Order Pickup
If you ordered bare-root seedlings, rain barrels and native seed mixes through the Scott SWCD tree program, you may pick up your order at the fairgrounds in Jordan. Remaining inventory of trees, rain barrels and seed mixes will also be sold. |
