Blue Thumb Workshop: Planting Beautiful Gardens with Native Plants
Join us for a free presentation about Blue Thumb, Planting for Clean Water and see dozens of inspirational and affordable garden designs that integrate native plants and clean our waters. After attending the workshop, you will be able to receive design and installation assistance. Some residents may qualify for a grant to help offset the cost of their Blue Thumb projects. Native plants have long roots that reduce runoff, filter pollutants and provide wildlife habitat for birds, bees and butterflies. Register today with Dan, Scott Clean Water Education Program, (952) 492-5424 or send an email to dmiller@co.scott.mn.us. The class will be held at the McColl Pond Environmental Learning Center, 13550 Dakota Avenue, Savage. |
