The workshops scheduled for April 6th in New Prague and April 8th in Shakopee have been cancelled.
The Scott Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a free raingarden workshop and is inviting you to attend. A raingarden is a small basin of colorful native plants that add beauty to your yard while collecting stormwater runoff from your roof, lawn and driveway. Each workshop will give you step-by-step instructions to help you successfully plan and plant a raingarden. An incentive of $250 to $1,000 may be available to help offset the costs of plants, compost and labor when you install a raingarden. The workshops are free, but registration is requested. Register here or by calling the Scott SWCD office at 952-492-5425. The raingarden workshop being held on:
April 4, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the McColl Pond Environmental Learning Center, 13550 Dakota Ave S, Savage, MN
