Farmers across Scott County are growing cover crops this fall, and now you have a chance to see them in person! A Cover Crop Fall Tour showcasing different cover crop strategies is being held on Tuesday, November 20th from 1:00 to 3:00pm. The stops on the tour are:

We will be viewing three fields at this address:
Winter-kill cover crop mix aerial seeded into standing corn and soy beans, and cereal rye drilled after corn silage.
20075 Xanadu Avenue, Jordan
Winter-kill cover crop mix broadcast seeded and rolled after wheat harvest.
Please park on the road south of the address.
West Evergreen Street, Belle Plaine
Winter-kill seed mix interseeded into standing corn.
