Earthworks Permit Application Submittal

Please note: submittal of this form does not authorize work. The Scott SWCD staff will notate "Notice of Completion" on your submitted Earthworks application once all forms are deemed sufficient. Your notated Earthworks application will then need to be uploaded into CityView along with your building permit application.

Please upload the following documents for a complete application.

Note: the items located on "Attachment A" of the Earthworks Permit must be clearly and accurately depicted on the ESC plan. Please place an “X” in the boxes to indicate they are included on the plan.

If any required item is missing or unclear, your plan will be failed, and you will be notified what additional content or information is required.

A GRADING PERMIT issued through Scott County will be required for this type of project. An Earthworks Permit through the SWCD is not applicable.

Projects that do not fall into the above categories may not need an Earthworks Permit.

Examples may include but are not limited to:

• Above ground pools

• Solar panels

• Demolitions

• Etc.
